Voice and Scanning Features
Voice Input & Search
Microphone permission is only used while actively speaking. Audio is processed for transcription and not stored as permanent voice recordings.
Multimodal AI Scanning
Camera permission is used to capture product packaging or handwritten grocery lists to auto-detect products. Images are processed securely.

Payments
Financial transactions on Remise are processed with industry-standard encryption:
Online Payments: Card, Net Banking, and UPI payments are handled by RBI-licensed payment gateways (Razorpay). Remise does not store full credit card or CVV details. Direct store transactions use official merchant UPI QR codes where funds settle directly to seller accounts.
